Local and Volunteer Groups |
Government departments, United Nations agencies, and other heavy weight NGOs are already working in the relief efforts of Cyclone Nargis in Myanmar. Their works are quite visible on the www. On the other hand, smaller local NGOs and volunteers groups are actively participating in relief works, too. We would like to document the latter groups here to increase their presence on the www.
Please note that these listing are by no mean complete, and most of the groups are very informal ones and some do not even have a name.
